Major working experience

Ever since 1970 I have been working as a consultant in different organisations and since 1989 in EnerGia Consultant Engineers.

My work as a consultant has covered a broad area of energy technologies and has given me the opportunity to develop lots of contacts with Swedish companies, organisations and authorities that are active in the energy technology field.

In the cases described below, I have either been working as a specialist or on a level where broad experiences from the energy technology sector have been required.

• For the development of the wind energy technology, it has been necessary to draw on the competence of qualified technical specialists as well as engineers with a broad technical background. I have been active in developing technical specifications, purchasing, offshore siting of wind power plants, international cooperation, development of strategies, evaluations, investment subsidies etc. I have had various commissions in this field for about 30 years.
  
• Improvements of the energy efficiency in industry is an activity of strategic importance in the long-range planning for a sustainable society. I have been engaged for mapping of the energy use in various industries, analyses of means of improving the energy efficiency, measurements of the efficiency of pumps in process industries, water purification works and premises, evaluations of results of governmental research programs for the foundry industry and the mineral industry etc.
  
• The increased use of bioenergy in Sweden represents an important element on the path to an environmentally sustainable society. I have taken part in governmental programs on small-scale combustion of biofuels and have acted as program secretary in research programs operated by the Swedish energy agency. I have also contributed to the cooperation in the bioenergy field in the Baltic sea area. Another activity has been an evaluation of the R&D work within the Swedish gas turbine centre.
